Labcorp in Livingston, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, and enter patient information accurately.

The role includes travel to additional sites and providing excellent patient service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or completed training, with 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
