Job summary

Labcorp in Howell, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, enter patient data accurately, and assist with clerical duties.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; 1 year of experience preferred. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with Saturday rotation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program is required or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
