Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Vermont Route 149 in West Pawlet, VT. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm and rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data, and provide excellent patient service.

Phlebotomy certification or training is required, with a preference for 1+ year of experience. Travel to other sites may be needed. Competitive hourly pay range is listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
