Job summary

Labcorp in Manchester, VT seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient-service oriented team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, enter patient data, and handle specimen processing with accuracy.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and reliable teamwork. The position offers a part-time schedule (Mon-Fri 9:00am-1:00pm, rotating Saturdays), a competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
