Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team on Canal Street in Brattleboro, VT. This role supports patient care through blood collection, handling specimens, and delivering friendly, professional service in a fast-paced setting.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 12:00pm with potential for occasional travel to other sites. The position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
