Job summary

Labcorp in Manchester, VT is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role entails blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, with patient-focused service in a clinical setting.

You will maintain accurate patient records, handle data entry and billing tasks, and travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma or GED with phlebotomy certification (or equivalent training) is required, with preferred 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
