Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Vermont Route 149 in West Pawlet, VT. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle samples for various tests, and enter data accurately while delivering excellent patient service.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with potential travel to other sites and a schedule of Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm plus rotating Saturdays. Competitive pay ranges from $17.75–$21.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
