Job summary

Labcorp in East Orange, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens for various tests, and enter patient data accurately.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year phlebotomy experience, and a valid certification or completed training program. Schedule: Mon-Fri 10:30am-7:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completion from an accredited program.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
