Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 3075 Governor’s Place Blvd Dayton, Oh 45409. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens for various tests, enter data, and maintain logs while delivering excellent patient care.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 2+ years of experience. We offer benefits and potential PST incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
