Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 4000 Miamisburg Centerville Rd Suite 104. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, handling specimens for testing, and providing excellent patient service in a Monday–Friday schedule with rotation.

Travel to other sites may be required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
