Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 3535 Salem Ave Dayton, OH 45406 / 8015 N Main Street Dayton, OH 45415. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

You will perform venipuncture across age groups, collect specimens, enter data, and ensure accurate billing and patient information. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months' experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
