Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center, delivering exceptional customer service and skilled specimen collections. This role offers opportunities for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods, handling specimens and data entry, and occasional travel to other sites. A HS diploma and phlebotomy certification or comparable training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
