Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Florida. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of Labcorp in the community.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary collection for all ages, data entry, and basic billing support. Travel to additional sites may be required, and teamwork is essential to delivering accurate results and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months' experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a color vision test and work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other duties as assigned
