Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support in PSC settings. You will collect quality blood specimens by venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks across all ages while ensuring correct patient identification and labeling.

This role also supports Epic registration, non-blood specimen collection, outpatient EKGs, and specimen processing with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency, including 100 successful venipunctures.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use Epic and registration workflows.
  • Strong customer service skills and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work across age groups, including newborns to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered registration, laboratory and diagnostic services in PSC settings.
  • Collect blood specimens by venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks.
  • Accurately label specimens and verify patient identity and orders.
  • Assist with Epic registration workflows and kiosk registration.
  • Maintain equipment and support site cleanliness and supply inventory.
  • Travel between PSC locations as needed.
