Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across PSC settings, collecting blood specimens via venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks for all ages.

You will ensure correct patient identification, accurate labeling, order verification, and compliance with safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards, while supporting workflow and Epic registrations.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork.
• Experience with Epic/electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered registration, laboratory, and diagnostic services in PSC settings with professionalism and safety.
• Performs blood specimen collection (venipuncture, capillary, heel sticks) across all ages.
• Labels specimens accurately and verifies specimen integrity per policies.
• Maintains competency in venipuncture, non-blood specimen collection, and PPE workflows.
• Completes patient notification and Epic registration tasks as required.
