Job summary

LabCorp in Flowood, MS is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages, enter data accurately, process specimens, and support front-line service at our sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with 1 year of experience preferred. You must be able to travel to additional sites and pass a color vision test.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training program, or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for various tests.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
