Job summary

Labcorp in Jackson is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections across age groups, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient data accurately. Provide excellent service and assist with billing and logistics as part of daily clinical support.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or training, HS diploma or GED, and flexibility to travel to other sites. The schedule includes a standard daytime pattern with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Able to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
