Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Jackson, MS team. The role involves blood collection via venipuncture and capillary methods across all ages, specimen handling, and accurate data entry. You will support billing processes, maintain specimen logs, and provide top-tier patient service.

Travel to additional sites may be required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system and process billing details as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service and travel to additional sites when required.
