Job summary

LabCorp in Madison, MS is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient information accurately. The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus phlebotomy certification or training.

Schedule is Mon-Thu 7:00am-4:00pm with a 1-hour lunch and Fridays 7:00am-12:00pm. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required or an approved accommodation may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
