Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our Fresno, CA team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays; travel to additional sites may be required. A CA phlebotomy license and a high school diploma are required, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
