Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Mountain View, CA. The role involves blood collections, patient service at a Patient Service Center or Client office, and providing exceptional customer service while collecting specimens.

You will perform phlebotomy procedures, data entry, and travel to additional sites as needed; schedule Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with possible overtime and weekends. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 1+ months of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Prior Labcorp experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
