Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 18111 Brookhurst St Suite 2100, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm, with additional hours and rotating Saturdays may be required.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for various tests, enter patient data, and support billing processes. Strong customer service and accuracy are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 3 months or more of experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
