Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team at Laguna Niguel, CA. You will provide skilled specimen collections and deliver exceptional customer service in a patient-facing role.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, potential overtime, and opportunities for growth within Labcorp’s clinical network. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid California phlebotomy license, with duties at Patient Service Center or Client office and possible travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 1+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Current or prior experience with Labcorp.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
