Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Lynwood, CA team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and ensuring accurate patient information.

You will travel to additional sites as needed while delivering exceptional customer service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and a California CPT license, with 1+ month of phlebotomist experience.

Qualifications

• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)
• 1 month or more of phlebotomist experience
• Bilingual with Spanish and English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as required
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs
• Provide superior customer service to patients
