Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our Vista, CA team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and a valid California Phlebotomy License. Prior lab experience or with Labcorp is preferred; training is provided, and travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
