Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 4351 E Imperial Highway, Lynwood, CA. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, with potential overtime and rotating Saturdays.

You will perform skilled specimen collections, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional customer service in a Patient Service Center or Client office. Preferred candidates have CA CPT licensure, 1 year of phlebotomy experience, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) required.
• 1 month or more of phlebotomist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
