Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist in Torrance, CA to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and friendly patient service.

You will travel to additional sites as needed, maintain logs, and support billing and administrative tasks. The role requires California phlebotomy license or license process, 6+ months experience, and a high school diploma;

Formación

• California state Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 6 months or more of experience as phlebotomist.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
