Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• Strong customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; flexible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
