Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Marysville, OH. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, handling specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate patient data entry and billing processing.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Preferred candidates have 2+ years of phlebotomy experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
