Job summary

Labcorp Middletown, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a patient service center or client office.

We offer a Monday–Friday 8:00am–1:00pm schedule, pay range $17.75–$24.00 per hour, and potential PST Incentive Plan bonuses; qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
