Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Falls Church, VA. This role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, with a schedule Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

You will perform data entry, process billing information, prepare specimens for testing, and provide patient service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
