Job summary

Labcorp in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work Schedule: Mon 8:00am-7:00pm, Tue 8:00am-5:00pm, Wed 8:00am-3:00pm, Thu/Fri 8:00am-5:00pm. Phlebotomy duties include blood collection and specimen processing.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program; or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong communication skills; able to work with diverse patients.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
