Job summary

Labcorp in Centreville, VA seeks a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and provide excellent patient service in a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will collect specimens, handle data entry, and support billing processes while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy certification or training; 6+ months of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Monday–Friday 8:00am–12:00pm with potential overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
