Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Patient Services Representative I responsible for drawing blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while following established procedures. The role involves direct patient contact, building trust, and explaining procedures to patients with care and accuracy.

The PSR I will demonstrate leadership behaviors, prioritize process excellence, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
