Job summary

Labcorp in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Fri 8:00am–2:00pm, with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, preparing specimens for testing, data entry, and providing excellent patient service.

Minimum: high school diploma/GED and Phlebotomy certification or approved training; 3+ years’ experience; travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or approved training required.
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
