Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups, with responsibilities including data entry and handling of billing information. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience. Preferred candidates have 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
