Job summary

Labcorp in College Park, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch; Saturdays may be included. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with phlebotomy certification or training; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience is preferred, with potential for 5+ years. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; Phlebotomy certification or training program completed.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
