Job summary

Labcorp in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule is Monday–Thursday 8:15am–5:00pm, Friday 8:15am–2:00pm, with possible Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and clerical tasks.

Travel to additional sites may be required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or completed training program; 3+ years of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
