Job summary

Labcorp in Clinton Township, Michigan is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection, patient service, and occasional travel to additional sites, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or training, with 0+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Strong customer service and reliable transportation are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
