Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Clinton Township, Michigan. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture, specimen processing, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a patient service center environment.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; evidence of a PST Incentive Plan bonus is noted. Travel to additional sites may be required; a phlebotomy certification or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Must be able to pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
