Job summary

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Macomb Township, Michigan. The role includes blood collection by venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service.

You may travel to additional sites as needed and participate in a PST Incentive Plan based on performance metrics. The schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with every other Saturday 7:00am–12:00pm, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
