Labcorp in Jamesburg, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. The role involves blood collection via venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, specimen handling, and accurate data entry.

You will be the face of Labcorp, delivering exceptional service at a patient service center or client site. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; 2+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
