Job summary

Labcorp in Winchester, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages, ensuring accuracy and compassionate care.

The role includes data entry, specimen processing and billing support, with travel to additional sites as needed. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential for overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy certification or training completed
• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred; 3 months+ phlebotomy experience adds value
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential for patient interactions

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Travel to additional sites as needed
