Job summary

Labcorp in Charleston, SC, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a patient-facing role at either a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will perform skilled blood collections, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to continuous growth opportunities within Labcorp.

The position requires phlebotomy skills and a high school diploma or GED; certification or training is preferred. Schedule includes weekdays with occasional weekends; benefits are provided for eligible

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred: 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
