Job summary

Labcorp in Clemson, SC is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient-service team in a fast-paced setting. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate patient data entry and specimen handling.

You will also process billing information, maintain logs, provide exceptional customer service, and support administrative tasks while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
