Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, while traveling to additional sites as needed and supporting billing, data entry, and administrative duties. The role offers growth opportunities within Labcorp.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned
