Job summary

Labcorp in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team and perform skilled blood collections at the Patient Service Center or client sites. You will collect specimens, enter data accurately, and help maintain patient records while delivering excellent service.

The role requires phlebotomy experience and certification, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and every 6th Saturday at the PSC in Bloomington, IL, and occasional travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
