Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Maryville, IL team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages, and collect specimens for various tests.

You will also handle data entry, billing processes, and ensure accurate records while delivering outstanding patient service. The position requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable), and phlebotomy certification or training; 3+ months of phlebotomy experience is acceptable, with 1 year

• 3+ months experience as phlebotomist acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
