Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Indianapolis team. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling and data entry, with travel to additional sites as needed. Work hours include a multi-day schedule with early morning to late afternoon shifts.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be certified or trained in phlebotomy, or have related minimal experience. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
