Job summary

Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services and is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Indianapolis team. The role involves skilled venipuncture and capillary blood collection across all ages, accurate data entry, and providing excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, with opportunities for growth within Labcorp. A certification or training in phlebotomy is required, and travel to additional sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
